About Dr. Mirsky
Inna Mirsky, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of professional experience. She has specialized training in forensic and police psychology, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).
For the past 12 years, Dr. Mirsky has served as Supervisor of the Mental Health Department at Stateville and the Northern Reception Center. In this role, she has developed extensive experience working within complex mental health systems and supporting individuals and professionals in challenging circumstances.
Dr. Mirsky is also a member of the Northern Illinois Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team and the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) Critical Incident Negotiation Team, which provides support during critical incidents involving hostage negotiations.
Her professional background reflects a commitment to mental health care, crisis response, and understanding the psychological needs of individuals facing difficult and high-stress circumstances.
