Jennifer Jerominski, LSW
I understand that attending therapy is a vulnerable experience for my clients. I have a strong belief that by treating my clients as a whole, by acknowledging my client’s culture, beliefs and background in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment allows my clients to express themselves, encourages healing, and sets a treatment path.
I received my BSW and MSW from Aurora University. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD/ADD, Learning Disabilities, depression, anxiety, trauma behavior concerns/challenges, bullying and medical challenges through individual and family group therapy. I also have personal and professional experience working with the geriatric population and their family (caregivers) as they face life changing medical challenges along with life transitions.
During sessions, I integrate several clinical approaches to meet my client’s needs. I enjoy utilizing Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Play and Expressive Therapy, Family Focused Therapy and Whole Person Therapy. My approach allows clients to identify their strengths and access resources from within themselves, family, and the larger community allowing for further benefits in their treatment.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, listening to music, art, gardening, DIY projects, working out, and spending time with my family.
