About Danielle
Starting therapy can be difficult—and so can the work that comes with it. But you have already overcome challenges in your life. Therapy can help you recognize the strengths and skills that have helped you get this far while developing new tools for the challenges you are facing now.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and strengths-based. I believe every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and change, even when they may not recognize those abilities in themselves. I work with clients to identify their existing strengths, develop practical skills and strategies, and take an active role in their treatment.
I am direct and honest in my work while remaining supportive, compassionate, and understanding. My goal is to help clients feel a sense of control and empowerment as they work toward meaningful change.

A Strengths-Based Approach to Therapy
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process in which clients remain active participants in their treatment.
Rather than focusing only on what is difficult or not working, I help clients recognize the strengths, skills, and experiences they already possess and build upon them. Together, clients and therapist can identify practical strategies for managing current challenges while developing greater confidence and resilience.
My style is direct and honest while also being compassionate and supportive. I strive to create an environment where clients can feel understood, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Experience in School and Therapeutic Settings
My background as a teacher, school counselor, and therapist gives me a unique perspective when working with children, adolescents, families, and adults.
I have several years of experience working in therapeutic day school settings, where I supported clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism, academic challenges, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, school refusal, social difficulties, personality disorders, and trauma.
This experience allows me to understand the ways emotional and behavioral concerns can intersect with school, relationships, family dynamics, and everyday life.
